Reflection electric furnaces are designed to produce secondary alloys from scrap aluminum.
The furnaces have a possibility of iron extraction during melting on a “dry” pad.
Casting of metal is performed through the taphole in the lower part of the bath.
The difference between САК-1, САК-1,5 and САК-2,5
САК-1 and САК-1,5 are usually made by two-chamber, with independent regulation of the temperature in the melting chamber and in the lance (bath).
САК-2,5 – three-chamber, with two melting chambers and a common bath located between them.
Lining of furnace chambers in places of contact with the melt is made with high-alumina bricks (МКС or МКВ grades), or with special heat-resistant concrete.
Heaters
The heaters are located at the top. Both КЕН ВП (silicon carbide) and resistance alloy heaters in the form of spirals on the ceramic pipe are used
Provides for quick heater replacement on the “hot” furnace.

Design features of furnaces are agreed with the customer (the number and position of the louvers, windows for slag cleaning, etc.).
